Been going here for many many years. The water is still terrible. However, today I ordered biscuits and gravy and had to ask for sausage in the gravy...it is like eating pasta without it. Hamburger's were ordered medium got them like hockey pucks. Biscuits were a bit under cooked. The grits were good as always. But, it irks me to order one way and still get their way, why bother. And service was not up to par!! Paid over $2 each, for a 12oz glass of ice and a spot of tea. She never came back to offer a refill. And the time was between 11 and 12 so no lunch rush, the place was half empty, 4 waitresses and 2 on the grill. This is my favorite go to for breakfast. What's up guys?

We stopped in for dinner tonight after seeing that a friend had posted that he was here for breakfast. We hadn’t heard of this restaurant before and thought we would try them out. When we parked there was only one other car here at 5:45PM. It’s a small diner where you seat yourself. Another family came in several minutes after we sat down and they were greeted and had drink orders before we even were acknowledged. It appears that they had 2 servers and one cook for three tables. We ordered country fried steak with mashed potato and green beans, grilled chicken with green beans and mashed potato, meatloaf with mashed potato and Mac n cheese. The country fried steak is very thin and the white gravy had a light but odd taste. The green beans were lacking flavor, the meatloaf was dried out and smothered in a nice tasting brown gravy, the grilled chicken and mashed potatoes were good. The Mac n cheese was room temperature but had a decent taste. The garlic toast was our favorite. We came, we tasted and it’s ok if we return but with so many other choices we likely will not. Breakfast might be much better so we would be more likely to return to try breakfast. Once we were greeted, the server was good and friendly.

Why five stars? Because I have eaten here so many times and always felt at home. The staff is extremely friendly. The food is like home cooking with generous portions. Most recently I ordered the bronco burger and had them add peanut butter. Don’t knock it till you try it. If your a peanut butter fan you need to have a bacon double cheeseburger with the toasted bun smothered and peanut butter. And don’t forget the look on the face of the person I was with when I told them to add peanut butter. It is priceless. Quick service, a very good price, family atmosphere, and good food.

It is a cozy place to eat in, opposite of today's fast food chain restaurants. It make you feel at home and it offers different variety of food within it menu opposite of fast food places. As for the prices, it is within range of other similar establishments. What a wonderful place to dine! The friendliest people, If you are anywhere nearby, this place will make you feel welcome and will also please your tummy. Give it a try.
